The popular American fast-food chain Chipotle is making its debut in the UAE, with the first restaurant set to open at The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) this October.
Known for its fresh and fast Mexican cuisine, Chipotle’s menu features burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and salads. Diners can choose from toppings like chicken, steak, braised beef, and vegetarian options, including plant-based protein, guacamole, and beans. You can customize your meal with a variety of fillings, from black beans to fajita veggies, rice, and salsa, all at no extra charge (we highly recommend the extra guacamole and chipotle-honey vinaigrette).
In partnership with Alshaya Group, Chipotle is expanding its presence in the Middle East. The first restaurant in this region opened in Kuwait this May. A total of four Chipotle restaurants are set to open in the UAE in 2024.
“Consumers have long awaited Chipotle’s arrival in the Middle East, and the feedback we’ve received so far confirms that we’re delivering the same delicious culinary experience as in the U.S.,” said John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group. “We’re proud to have introduced this popular American restaurant to Kuwait, and we look forward to opening in Dubai later this year as part of our exclusive partnership with Chipotle.”
