The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai reported on Saturday that its public transport services, including taxis and shared mobility vehicles, facilitated approximately 5.9 million passenger trips during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
A detailed breakdown revealed that the Dubai Metro’s Red and Green Lines accommodated 2.32 million passengers, while the Dubai Tram served 115 thousand riders. Public buses were utilized by 1.2 million passengers, and marine transport ferried 416 thousand riders across various routes.
Additionally, taxis transported 1.6 million passengers, while shared mobility vehicles catered to 308,000 passengers, contributing to the efficient movement of individuals during the festive period.
